From YouTube:

KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

Joseph Kony is a wanted warlord and a sadistic, predatory killing sociopath, whose victims are children in Africa, for the most part. He recruits boys and makes them into soldiers, often forcing the boys to kill members of their own family. He recruits girls for his sex-trade industry.

Here is another critique of the film, from Al Jazeera, titled Dangerous Ignorance: The Hysteria of KONY 2012:

I ain’t sure that this is anything but a great big propaganda ruse… in Africa for Chist’s sakes, what do you think is normal there? Bad place that is… but what the F do We want to do there, not much!… We need to make this country whole, make some good changes here!!

Bastards are on the loose, real f’n bastardS.

This is another lead to another war… not too cool Jethrow!

    • Just today I am seeing several differing perspectives on this video.

And I agree, bastards are on the loose, right here in this country. But, you know, we wouldn’t want to get them off the street or away from our children or anything, because we have to focus on locking up little old ladies for personal use amounts of pain pills, and pot people for their rolling papers!

Come on, son! We’ve got a war on the poor and a war on ‘drugs’ to fight. We cannot worry ourselves with the real predators. Why do something so unlucrative as to lock up the violent bastards when we can pack our jails with warehoused nonviolent people? We cannot bother ourselves with making real, positive changes in this country, when we can busy ourselves occupying other countries and raping them for natural resources. That would make way too much sense!

All of this is snark, of course, but I cannot help it, because, like you, I do not think this country makes any sense at all right now.
